Production of reference 3712 began in 2005 and ended in 2006 with the launch of ref. 5712, making it one of the shortest-produced complicated Patek in recent years. This reference may be distinguished from its successor by its straight shoulder guards, index at 7, and only 4 red dots on the power reserve. In 2006, its successor the 5712 was launched with minor design revisions as explained previously. Now available in white and pink gold, the Nautilus 5712 is still produced today and remains one of the most coveted stainless steel models produced today by the firm.
