The 24 x 24 mm square case is something unusual especially for the ogival lugs, rarely seen on a Cartier watch. This very lot has an 18k yellow gold case with screw back, a cabochon sapphire-set crown and square bezel, finely preserved in all its components. The dial has the distinctive layout of Cartier with painted black radial roman numerals, inner minute track and blued steel Breguet hands.
