The 1988 is the first year of the introduction of the reference Submariner in Rolesor 16 613, equipped with the caliber 3135 and the calendar with quick functions. This particular example features a beautiful blue dial that perfectly matches the color of the aluminum bezel, as well as two-tone 40 mm Oyster case and bracelet. In particular the lot offered here has a steel and gold bracelet with flip lock deployant in very good condition, and the case is perfectly preserved, also denoted by the Rolex Sticker still present on the case back, deducing a truly occasional use. This watch was part of the illustrious Mondani Collection sold by Antiquorum in Geneva 1 April 2006.
