Launched in 1944, the legendary “Tri-Compax” is certainly one of Universal’s most famous models. Offering the most appreciated complications that could be found on a wristwatch, it is one of the most complex watches available at the beginning of the 40s. The lot here offered strikes from the first sight with its three-body, solid case with concave lugs, inset calendar adjusters to the band and snap-on-case back fully in pink gold and in great conditions. The well proportioned and attractive dial has a glamorous pink color with applied baton indexes, subsidiary guilloché dials, outer tachometer graduation, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases.
