Rolex has always had water as a favorite element for new and the present lot is a very nice Sea-Dweller reference 16 660, the Triple 6 launched in 1978, a transitional Rolex that is a perfect example of the evolution of the much appreciated Sea-Dweller collection. The present lot especially stands out thanks to its immaculate overall condition: the stainless steel case and bracelet are perfect such as the graduated bezel and the glossy dials with white-gold luminous markers. This watch is a classic, discontinued Rolex model that is great for everyday wear. The provenance of this watch is the Mondani Collection of Rolex Wristwatches, sold at auction on the 1st of April 2006 in Geneva by Antiquorum.
