In 2019, Patek Philippe introduced a new World Time reference 5231J-001, the first model of its reference to feature its covetable cloisonné enamel dial, reminiscent of the vintage world time reference 2523, as well as the 1415. The 38.5 mm case with pusher at 10 o’clock to set the cities of this lot has been manufactured 18k yellow gold and its charm is implemented by its fancy faceted lugs revived from the reference 2523. The dial depicts the Americas, Europe and Africa and since its totally hand made process required is very time-consuming and each dial made is considered unique. The present example of Patek Philippe World Time reference 5231J is presented in excellent overall condition with almost no signs of wear.
