The lot offered here is a very well preserved yellow-gold example of reference 1602, in production from 1959 till 1977. Its beautiful yellow-gold tile bracelet is decorated with a geometrical motif in the three central lines and has been conserved finely in these years. The 36 mm yellow-gold case has a cool morellis finished decoration as well, all carved and engraved present on both lugs and bezel. The excellent silvered dial has applied baton numerals and lume plots and just below the Datejust designation is printed the Serpico Y Laino signature, the famous Venezuelan retailer active from 1925 to 1966 and known as one of the best watches retailers in the whole South America.
