The lot here offered is a noble and elegant reference 3520 made by Patek Philippe. This specific reference has been introduced in 1965 and, at the time, was advertised as the flattest waterproof watch in the world. This particular specimen s part of the 1 series of production because it houses the caliber 175 movement stamped with the seal of Geneva quality mark. The maintenance of the two-body solid, polished, brushed case with screwed down back and thin straight lugs is really remarkable for its quality. The dial has the classic argentè but with that touch of class represented by the painted black Roman numerals. These style elements with the thin hands give this watch a classic Patek Philippe look and feel. This watch is also provided with the Extract from the Archives confirming its production in white-gold in 1971 and subsequent sale on the 3rd of December 1971.
