Since it was established in 1883 Jaeger LeCoultre never ceases to impress with a rich history of creating bold, even audacious, timepieces underpinned by traditional watchmaking at its finest. Among the most interesting creations are for sure the complicated watches such as the present triple calendar with moon phases. Its yellow-gold case, despite being preserved in beautiful conditions with straight rounded lugs and sharp edges all around, strikes for its unusual and innovative design with the indexes for minutes and hours located directly on the surface. The two-tone dial presents the outer ring with the date of the calendar and at six o’clock the moon phase/sub-seconds cuts off days 15–18. Really unusual and offers with its original box and booklets, the present Jaeger LeCoultre is an outstanding example of the ’40s design.
