69 Rolex Fine and Rare GMT Master II Automatic Wristwatch in Steel, Like New, Reference 116 710 LN, With Black Dial, Full Set, Like New

The Rolex GMT Master was first introduced in 1954 with the reference 6542, but the model is still manufactured today under the name GMT Master II. The reference 116710LN offered here was introduced at the Basel World Fair in 2007, the “LN” for “Lunette Noir”, French for black bezel. More features have been added, like The Oyster case that is differed from its predecessor by the “super case” including larger lugs with vertical satination instead of diagonal, the introduction of the green hand and write on the “Maxi Dial” dial (larger hands and larger indexes). The present watch is a very nice exponent of this family still very well preserved: the case in stainless steel is embellished by the iconic bracelet heavier and more complicated including a hidden “Easy Link”. The black dial sees applied luminescent dagger, the Mercedes-style hands and the new green arrowhead 24 hour indicator hand. The bidirectional revolving bezel calibrated for 24 hours has the unusual monochromatic structure in black instead of the classic red-and-blue one. To complete the watch is presented with its original box and warranty card Rolex.
