The Tank by Cartier appeared in 1917 and was marketed in 1919. Here there is an example of the Collection Privée Tank Cintrée, born in 1921, has a curved case matching the wrist. It is produced in 18k white gold with two independent mechanical movements, capable of showing on a silvered dial two different time zones, one indicated with all twelve Roman numerals while the other with just 3 6 9 12 Roman Numerals.
