In the world of watchmaking, Patek Philippe made watches with an almost obsessive attention to detail and design, setting aside the great productions to the detriment of a product that aims at excellence. Among them is the “Oval” watch like the present lot, one of the nicest ever seen thanks to its almost untouched conditions. The solid case made in 18 kt white gold with its unmistakable subtle and rounded edge is the emblem of elegance, the iconic bicolor copper and white gold with at the center a white-gold guilloché decoration is perfect with the aforementioned applied white-gold baton indexes. This timepiece is completed by an 18K white-gold Patek Philippe integral bracelet andthe extract from the archives confirming its white-gold case and its production in 1974 and subsequent sale on the 10th of April 1975.
