The ref.49820 here offered is called the “Shadow” and is a unique sports version of Girard-Perregaux’s iconic worldwide time control watch collection. The black ceramic case with big lugs is a mixture of elegance and sportiness with double crown and rectangular chronograph pushers. The in-house caliber made Girard-Perregaux caliber GP03387 powers chronograph complications with flyback feature, the date and, of course, the World Time complication, indicated by the ring with cities and the red/black 24 hours indication ring. The black dial with white and red text is incredibly well printed with everything being proportional making the reading very comfortable despite a busy dial. Made as a unique piece for the Only Watch charity auction, Monaco, 2009.
