The IWC Aquatimer IW3548 was introduced in 2004 and marks the return of the inner rotating bezel, which was also found on the original 1967 Aquatimer 812 AD. The present lot is fair exponent of this family with a three-body case in stainless steel nicely preserved with screwed-down case back and crown, smooth bezel and the over mentioned graduated inner unidirectional rotating disc with luminous white 15-minute indicator. The deep blue dial bears faceted steel baton indexes and luminous dots, aperture for the date, outer seconds/minute division and luminous steel baton hands. Powered by the caliber 30 110, the watch is also provided with its original solid stainless steel bracelet and IWC clasp.
