Reference 6263 such as the present lot is the last version of the Rolex Daytona made with a manual-winding Valjoux movement. The aggressive look of this very nicely preserved tonneau case in stainless steel is due to the screw-down pushers to increase water resistance and the black acrylic bezel featuring a tachymeter track. The dial is silvered with applied baton indexes and intact luminous dots, and the black subsidiary dials have aged till gaining a really fascinating brown tropical color.
