The Edward Piguet collection was dedicated to the Audemars Piguet’s co-founder who was the “repasseuer” for the brand, inspecting and ensuring that each crafted timepiece was perfect. The present lot is part of a limited edition that pays tribute to this horological master. The rectangle is the leitmotif of the Edward Piguet Collection, and the present specimen of reference 25925BC sets apart from other Audemars Piguet models. The two body case with screwed back, stepped bands and curved lugs is in total white gold nicely preserved. The attractive railroad black dial is extremely elegant with outer silver Arabic numerals and inner luminous indexes, minute track, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12- hour and 30-minute registers, aperture for the date between 4 & 5. The present lot offers its fair share of craftmanship contained in a classic yet robust timepiece and is sold with the extract from archives confirming its production the 13th of September 2001.
