The present lot is an elegant specimen with a triple calendar moon phase produced by Vacheron Constantin. It is an exponent of the reference 4462, launched in 1942, available in the course of years cased in pink, white or yellow gold and with or with moon phase display, such as this watch. The present watch displays a very attractive 33 mm case in yellow gold with unusual lugs preserved in very nice conditions with a slight principle of oxidation. The red day and month are indicated by a window and the date via a central hand showing against a wonderful two-tone champagne dial with the painted black outer graduation, and completed by another aperture for the moon phases. With applied Arabic and baton numerals, the elegance of this timepiece it’s extremely popular.
