The lot here offered is a noble and elegant Calatrava made by Patek Philippe, the typical size that people used to wear in the first part of the century, and the unmistakable style. What you are looking at is one of the last example of the “old-style” wristwatches that Patek Philippe kept within its production until the end of the 20th century. The maintenance of the two-body solid, polished, brushed case with snap back and thin straight lugs is really remarkable for its quality. The dial has the classic champagne but with that touch of class represented by the painted black Roman numerals. These style elements with the thin hands give this watch a classic Patek Philippe look and feel.
