Introduced as the last reference of Daytona featuring a manual winding cal. 727, the reference 6265 was initially launched in 1970 in stainless steel, 14K gold and 18K gold versions. The present lot offered here is a high quality specimen made in 18 kt yellow gold is a specimen of 6265 which means that I equipped with the gold bezel with a graduation of 200 units per hours and the iconic screw pushers. The gold strikes for the untouched conservation matching perfectly the champagne color with applied baton numerals, ocher luminous dots and black subsidiary dial. Very well preserved, the case still has the initial features with sharp lugs, showing 3 deep hallmarks on the case back. In addition, to complete the offer, it comes with its original box, papers and booklets.
