The present lot, also known as “Ovettone”, since it was (and still is nowadays) one of the largest bubble-back types, time-only watch produced by the brand, has been realized in stainless steel with a screw-down case supplied by the case maker Genex S. A. (a subsidiary of dial maker Stern Frères) and are exactly the same as the famous model 6062 which includes the triple calendar complication. In over 70 years has been preserved extremely well: the lugs are sharp, the bezel is smooth and the case back is clean and shiny in an extraordinary way. The silvered dial is simply beautiful with applied Arabic and dart indexes, black, outer closed track for the constant seconds and feuille gold hands.
