The lot offered here is an exceptional piece of design and craftsmanship by IWC: the combined elements of silvered dial and case harmonize in a symphony of monochrome white. The heavy platinum case has indeed been preserved in excellent conditions and further embellished with brilliant-cut diamonds allover the edge and bezel. The dial is simply stunning in its essentiality with applied baton numerals, hard enamel signature and perlage minute track beautifully raised, a feature of the dials coming from the very best vintage timepieces and so appreciated by collectors. Further peculiarity is the original platinum chain and black pouch which accompany the watch.
