Launched first in 1956, it took almost no time at all for the Rolex Day-Date to assert itself at the top of the Rolex totem pole. Produced almost exclusively in precious metals, it obviously evolved both from a technical and an aesthetic point of view. It is glamorous, luxurious and can be found with a variety of bracelets, bezels, gold finish designs and, most of all, dials. One of the most appreciated and sought after by passionate and collector is surely the “Stella”, which is enamel and usually with a vivid color. The present reference 1803 has been manufactured in yellow gold and is equipped with one of the most intriguing Stella variants ever: the green one. Moreover, it is the vivid green version of enamel and thus really collectable. Masterfully crafted and preserved in perfect condition is fitted with applied golden hour markers, original golden baton hands and the outer black 5 minutes/second track. Surely an extremely appealing version, since Stella variants tended to crack given the fragile nature of the enamel.
