The reference 1809 Navitimer Cosmonaute Chrono-Matic not only uses one of the world's first automatic chronograph movements, the calibre 11, but also features a new and rather revolutionary case design. The 48-mm-diameter "Big Case" introduces a complex bezel mechanism, which enables high water resistance thanks to a screw-down case back. The specimen offered here has a very well-preserved steel case with clear engravings on the back. It also features the iconic black dial with two white counters, orange hands that add a touch of color, large Roman numerals, and a date window at 6 o'clock.
