Reference 6605 is a highly sought-after Rolex Datejust, first introduced in 1956 and discontinued in 1959, fitted with the automatic caliber 1065. Considering the very limited years of production, it represents a very rare watch, and the present example is no exception. Manufactured in pink gold, it has been nicely preserved with clear engravings on the back. The dial shows a charming patina and, most notably, features the highly appreciated signature of the Venezuelan retailer Serpico y Laino. Active from 1925 to 1966, Serpico y Laino was known as one of the best watch retailers in South America.
