The present Vacheron Constantin is the materialization of the experimental genius in which the Swiss brand has always ventured. The case is composed of a two-body carrure in 18k pink gold with a snap on back of 35 mm width with incredibly crisp edges. It is surprisingly curvaceous with amazing massive downturned lugs and for this reason nicknamed by collectors “flame lugs”. The matte silver dial is a masterpiece given its engine turned decoration perfectly intact with outer perlage for minutes, applied rhomboidal and Arabic 12 indexes and subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock. To power the gold baton hands is the manual V453 caliber. The large diameter of 35 mm and perfectly balanced proportions makes this watch a special piece.
