In 1958 was presented to the world the first Antimagnetic watch, mass-produced by the Swiss Polish brand, known as reference 3417 available solely in stainless steel. The lot offered here is a precious example of another Antimagnetic, the reference 3420, that was commenced only one year after first one. The case is totally in white gold, with a three-body composition, concave lugs and snap-on case back: its conditions are very nice with sharp edges and no evident signs on the carrure. The matte silver has applied gold baton indexes, subsidiary seconds dial, conserved in charming conditions, sees the designation “Antimagnetic” noted on the dial, not always present on such dials. The caliber is the manual 27-AM 400, stamped twice with the seal of Geneva quality mark. With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in white gold in 1965 and its subsequent sale on 25 November 1965.
