Our Story
Monaco Legend Group (MLG) is a specialist auction house focused on rare and collectible timepieces. Founded in 2015, by entrepreneur and real estate developer Claude Cohen, MLG’s first steps into the auction world began with classic automobiles. Soon afterwards, MLG joined forces with a renowned Geneva-based watch auction house. This marked the beginning of MLG’s journey into the watch world. After several significant auctions, featuring many important watches, MLG caught the attention of one of the watch industry’s most prominent experts and dealers; Davide Parmegiani. Known as the “Big Boss” of watch dealers, Davide Parmegiani is one of the vintage watch world’s leading lights, having curated many of the most prominent watch collections in existence.
In the winter of 2018, Claude Cohen and Davide Parmegiani’s paths crossed and the two established a strong connection and a shared vision of what the future could be for Monaco Legend Group. In the spring of 2019 Davide Parmegiani relocated to Monte Carlo from his beloved Lugano, Switzerland, to develop and grow Monaco Legend Group’s watch business.
Fast forward to today, and MLG has become a key fixture on the annual watch auction calendar, with two “Exclusive Timepieces” auctions annually that include a phenomenal selection of approximately 270 watches per sale. Characterized as an auction house with soul, MLG’s priority is to use its unparalleled expertise to find and offer exceptional, rare and beautiful timepieces.
Monaco Legend Group boasts a private sales department headed by Davide Parmegiani with flourishing watch specialist Andrea Parmegiani taking the operational lead. As well as world-class timepieces, the MLG headquarters and showroom in Monaco hosts a tastefully curated selection of investment-class collectibles including vintage automobiles, motorcycles, watch cases, trunks and other luxury objects.
