In 1977, Rolex launched the reference 18038, powered by the innovative caliber 3055. While maintaining the classic aesthetics of its predecessors, this model introduced the convenient single quickset feature for adjusting the date. Crafted in yellow gold with a matching dial, this particular example is part of a rare series created exclusively for the U.A.E. Armed Forces, featuring their emblem prominently displayed on the dial. Preserved in excellent condition, the case showcases great proportions and crisp caseback hallmarks.
