From the iconic Tank to the elegant Drive to the masterful Rotonde, Cartier has created a plethora of original fine watches for men over the years. The lot here offered is a totally groundbreaking specimen know as Baguette or “Coulissant”, rarely seen at auction in the last years. The massive solid yellow gold case has a rectangular case with reeded bezel, back winder and anti-magnetic protecting cap finely preserved with minus signs of use and strikes the view for its bald design. The concealed dial, visible only after opening the sliding window, shows a white quadrant with applied gold indexes, arabic numerals and baton gold hands.
