Cartier was one of the first to create particular shape for every wrist in jewelry making which became the stepping-stone for the brand to experiment in form. The lot here offered is an elegant version of Tank called Obus Savonnette due to its particular Hunter style case features the recognizable blue, cabochon sapphires on the crown and corners, the cylindrical lugs and whose rectangular case has been made in yellow gold and strikingly well preserved. Pushing the lower pair of sapphire releases the cover and shows the dial of this timepiece, a matte silver decoration dial with Roman numerals and blued steel spade hands with no signs of use. The watch is compleated by a leather strap closed by a yellow-gold Cartier deployante.
