Among the many models Cartier produced of the Tank such as the Americaine, the Chinoise or Louis Cartier Tank, that are all simply amazing, probably the most appreciated remains the Tank Cintrée, introduced in 1921 and still today one of the most beautiful watches made during the 1920’s to 1940’s. The present lot is a specimen realized in 18k yellow gold with a two body, solid curved case with screwed bars, sapphire-set winding crown, sapphire crystal. The dial is silvered with painted radial Roman numerals, inner concentric minute track and blued steel epée hands. This very watch is offered in fine and fair conditions.
