The Ulysse Nardin Astrolabium Galileo Galilei, after the name of the great scientist and humanist, was launched in 1985 and represents the only astrolabe watch designed to be worn on the wrist. It is one of the series of the astronomical watches created by Ulysse Nardin along with the Planetarium Copernicus and the Tellurium Johannes Kepler. It’s able to show few accurate astronomical indications and shows the position of the moon, the sun and some stars as well as the sunrise and sunset, moonrise and moonset, eclipses of the moon and the sun. The present watch is number 77 and has been conserved heavenly by the last owner: the edges are crisp and sharp, the yellow-gold case has a nice start of oxidation and, moreover, it is sold with its original papers.
