In the ’20s of the 1900s, watches had increasingly found a place on the wrists of many businessmen. Two years earlier than the Great Depression of the 1929 market, Patek Philippe manufactured the present wristwatch in the perfect standard of style of the time. The case has a two-body composition with hinged case back very thin straight lugs and has been manufactured in 18k yellow gold. The shape has been ideated to fit perfectly on the wrist and despite its age it has been preserved in a nice way with little signs of oxidation spreading somewhere on the carrier. The champagne dial has very big luminous painted Arabic numerals to make it easier to read, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial and luminous blued steel skeleton hands. Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in yellow gold in 1926 and its subsequent sale on 26 April 1927.
