The present watch is not only remarkable through the fact that it has been extremely well preserved to date as regards to its age, but also because its dial is not commonly seen on this type of Oyster model the depth indication on the dial 50m = 165 ft, which is normally associated with tool watches like the well-known Submariner. Moreover, this indication is, furthermore, rare since it has been unscripted with in vivid red. The two bodies, solid, domed polished bezel with curved lugs, screwed down case back and crown are nicely preserved for a watch manufactured in 1958. The dial, in addition to presenting the depth in red, has applied Arabic indexes in yellow gold such as the alpha hands and black outer 5-minute track.
