Designed near the end of World War I, the Cartier Tank immediately became one of the most appreciated watches for its unique design. Its essence has remained the same over more than 100 years and this particular lot is a rare example that has been made in platinum. The style is the typical one of Cartier Tank and the preservation is really nice with rectangular case with back secured by four screws in the band and cabochon. The engine-turned silvered dial has Roman numerals with secret signature at VII and blue steel sward hands. The watch has also its original white-gold Cartier deployant.
