Preserved in good and original overall condition, the present watch is fitted with an attractive black lacquer dial. This combination is probably the most sought-after version that a connoisseur could hope for and even more when found on a reference 2811. This reference is distinguished in two generations and this lot is part of the first one. That is demonstrated by the olive-shaped chronograph buttons instead of rectangular ones. The stainless steel case is superb in condition with thick lugs and large flat bezel. The sophisticated black dial is a real joy for the eyes for its color, its patina, its intricate composition with external telemeter scale, inner spiral tachometer scale, Arabic and baton numerals and the two subsidiary counter for constant seconds and 30 minutes registration.
