On the lot here offered is present the applied Longines’s logo in yellow gold, perfectly matching the rest of the compositions. Indeed the circular case of 37 mm width has been produced in 18k yellow gold. Its massive structure presents 2 round pushers on the bend and a stepped case with a principle of oxidation spreading from 2 till 5 o’clock. The argentè dial with the winged hourglass logo has also baton, dot and Arabic numerals in gold such as the alpha hands, two subsidiary dials for minutes and constant seconds, inner Arabic five minute divisions, outer blue pulsation scale. Moreover, the caliber is a 30CH. With the Longines Extract from the Archives confirming case, movement, production and subsequent sale on 15 February 1951 to the company A. Puerta which was at that time our agent for Columbia.
