The lot here offered represents something different from the standard design of Longines chronograph since the case has the cushion style compared to the classic round one. Moreover, it is a monopusher which means that the chronograph complication is operated by one pusher only located at 3 o’clock on the crown. The whole watch is remarkable considering that the yellow-gold case is very well preserved with no evident signs of wearing. The dial is enamel with outer red scale and inner black minutes/seconds track but the main rarity is the Tiffany & Co signature at 6 o’clock, a feature really sought after by many collectors nowadays. Accompanied by the Longines Extract from the Archives confirming case, movement, production and subsequent sale on 2 February 1933 to the company Ostersetzer, which was at that time our agent for Italy.
