The reference 3525 of Rolex is extremely famous among watch lovers due to the atypical constitution of its case, composed of a single solid piece of metal which has also earned it the nickname “monoblock”. Available in pink gold, yellow gold, stainless steel or steel and gold it was the model supplied to the prisoner of war (for this reason also known as POW) captured in Western Allied airmen and incarcerated in German camps. The watch here offered is an absolutely precious variant of this very important model, fully realized in stainless steel. After almost 80 years, the conditions of this tonneau-shaped, water-resistant with screwed case-back watch are incredible. The argentè dial is almost untouched with two subsidiary counters, the unusual applied dart and Arabic numerals, a black tachometer scale and a mint light blue telemeter scale.
