For decades, since its founding in 1839, pocket watches were the main stage on which Patek Philippe demonstrated its skills. The present watch is a high-level exponent of this art: a pink gold, open face pocket watch with chronograph complications extremely well preserved and of undeniable charm. The case is generous with its 48 mm in diameter but has a sober and elegant design with smooth edges all conserved in old conditions. The enamel white dial has the outer track for chronograph, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and black Arabic numerals. Enhancing the general desirability of this timepiece is the fact that it comes full with original fitted box, original Certificate of Origin and additional original glass with envelope of the time.
