The present reference 4504 with a 44 mm slim case is composed of 3 pieces and totally realized in pink-gold with a snap on back, fully signed by Rolex. The quality is excellent, with nice and smooth bezel and clear case back. The argentè dial has a fantastic finish with applied gold Roman and baton numerals which show some oxidization. At 12 o’clock the signature Rolex Chronometre, and “Prince Imperial” at 9 and 3, while at 6 the subsidiary dial for the seconds. Externally a nice closed minutes track in black enamel. Inside one of the finest movements ever commissioned by Rolex: chronometer grade quality movements were stringently tested and issued with a Class A certificate by the KEW or Greenwich Observatories in London to be able to carry the “Chronometer quality” tag.
