A reference point for Daytona collectors, the 6263 is the last version of the Rolex Daytona and is one of the most desirable vintage Daytona models. The present wristwatch is definitely well preserved: its stainless steel case has still the original proportions, the satin finish on the lugs, sharp edges and crisp and legible serial numbers. This, in combination, with the black acrylic bezel insert, characteristic to this reference, trick the eye to perceive the dial as somewhat larger than it is and serves to give the watch great presence. It also features the very coveted black dial with the attractive big red “Daytona” script and contrasting subsidiary registers, preserved in very good original overall condition.
