The so-called pre-Carrera model was available with or without the tachymeter scale, such as the present watch. The stainless steel case with smooth bezel and strong lugs is well preserved with screw back case. The dial is clean given the absence of any type of scale but the oversized subsidiary dials make the quadrant appear very full. The 30-minute register features a marking at 3, 6 and 9 minutes to indicates the time frames for the long-distance phone calls. Inside the 12 hours register is located the signature of the very important Swiss retailer based in Zurich, Beyer.
