Reference 2421/2 made by Omega such as the present specimen is known by collectors as the “Ambassador” due to the advertising of the period, which announced the watch as an ambassador for Swiss precision. This very watch is an attractive, self-winding, water-resistant, center seconds, stainless steel gentleman’s wristwatch. The two body untouched case is set with concave, overhanging lugs and rounded bezel all finely preserved. A plexy crystal protects a two tone silvered dial with applied dot and Roman numerals and inner minute-seconds divisions.
