For this watch Hermès in 2003 has designed and developed its own mechanical watch calibres, the maison in fact adds a module to the ébauche to create the illusion of time stopping by suspending the hour and minute hands next to the 12 o’clock index when initiated. Meanwhile, the watch continues to track the time until the wearer disables the suspension via the button on the case band.
