In production from 1952 until 1962, reference 2525 is particularly rare and appreciated for its case characterized by cool stepped case and fluted lugs. The specimen here offered in yellow gold is preserved in very nice original condition with a little oxidation at 11 o’clock and deep hallmarks in the case back and on the lug. The charming dial has aged gently till gaining an ocher color with applied baton indexes, seconds at 6 and dauphine hands. Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in yellow gold in 1957 and its subsequent sale on 22nd January 1958.
