Inspired by the legendary Patek Philippe World Time watches from the mid-20th century, such as ref. 605, the design of reference 5110 echoes masterpieces of the past combined with modern watchmaking technology. This reference was in production from 2000 until 2006 when it was replaced by reference 5130. Available in four case materials, the present lot is a very nice specimen made in solid platinum. Preserved in almost unworn conditions, it features a central blue guilloché dial, a middle ring with the 24-hour indication and divine for date/night and outer ring with the international city names giving it a dynamic and modern look with applied baton indexes. The watch is also sold with its box, booklets and original warranty.
