For decades, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust has been the archetype wristwatch of the classic men. The present example of Rolex Datejust is a reference 16 038. Its tonneau-shaped water-resistant case in stainless steel is a delight with its fluted bezel, screw down crown and back, and has been nicely preserved. The beautiful argentè dial has centered seconds and applied baton numerals and has aged heavenly gaining a cream color. Powered by the automatic caliber 1560, this is a really cool example of the everyday watch.
