The present lot is a limited edition box made by Longines in 2000 and containing two chronographs: a wristwatch and a pocket watch, both of them preserved in almost new old stock conditions. The pocket chronograph is one of the 600 original pieces made by Longines for the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, and the wristwatch chronograph with vermer scale is a 1/10 second scale chronograph reader and takes the look of the 1968 Olympics chronograph. These chronographs were withdrawn from the house at the end of the Games, and kept until the year 2000, where they were then restored and serviced before being placed in this set for sale.
