The philosophy “always in motion” that is the transcription from Esperanto of Movado remained within the brand for all its history, which was constantly innovating in terms of styles and designs. This Movado is a nice example of a vintage yellow-gold dress watch. Time only just like the present example offer a great value for an automatic solid gold watch most of all if found in great conditions. The circular case of 37 mm with snap on back is nicely preserved with deep hallmarks, and Cartier reference numbers. The watch is also equipped with a charming Gay Freres yellow-gold bracelet also retailed by Cartier. The most important feature of the present watch anyway is on the dial: with a gilt background, applied baton indexes and guillochè decoration in the inner part, right inside the constant seconds subsidiary dial is located the prestigious signature of Cartier, one of the most appreciated retailer by collectors and passionate.
